march 2001

Night's for the weekly runs have been changed. The majority decided on Monday's one month then Wednesday's the next starting with Monday's in April.

The first run of the year will be Monday 2nd April (snow free we hope) leaving Shell Inveralmond 7pm sharp. The route will be decided on the night depending on which way the weather looks best.

Thoughts on whether baseball caps would be a good idea please? We will obtain a sample first before we order. Also t-shirts are still available if anyone still needs one please let Dawn know. These are reasonably priced at £8.50.

We have decided not to set a regular meeting place as we will be meeting weekly on runs. We might have to have a meeting prior to the Easter egg run though as we still have to decide routes and recipients.

As you are already aware we've set this web site up for your pleasure. We have also set up a guest book for any suggestions or clean cut comments you'd like to make. This will be updated on a regular basis (well almost) so any useful comments or anything you would like to see more of then let us know. Mark is open to any personal persuasion girls!

An up to date phone list has been sent out with this months newsletter. If you're not included in this list it might be because you've not paid. Please check with Ruth that we have grabbed your money and if not then check the how to join section on this site asap.

As mentioned the details for the Easter egg run have not been finalised yet although it will be held on the 21st April 2001. Any suggestions as to where and who will receive will be thought over and we'll let you know in plenty time! (You know how organised we like to keep things.)

Congratulations to Louise on her trophy at the recent go kart grand prix. Great night was had by all (slapped wrists to all those red carded).

Motorsports in Scotland show arrangements are well under way more details nearer the time. Well into the planning stage as suggested is an application form to join the club more details later. Gillian is organising business type cards for some of our more fortunate members who actually meet people who would like to know more about the club. Dawn is pestering everyone to give out her email address with the cards. (She can but try!).

The annual charity event will be the auction held at The Tower Hotel Crieff on the 28th July 2001 starting late afternoon. Donations will be gratefully received and can be stored at Twigs house. (Thanks Twig). Alcohol donations can be stored at mine! Ha Ha! Lets get the scrounging hats on and make even more money than last year.

The track night run will be leaving Shell Inveralmond at 5.30pm sharp on the 4th June. Only watching this time girls! Volunteers needed for the calendar Alison suggested we do. Plenty interest there so come on don't turn shy! Names to Marilyn please.

Tracey has all the details needed for the trip to Ullapool on 22nd of September anyone interested should get in touch quickly as there are only a limited number of tickets available.

It has been suggested that we have a learners run every now and then with the more experienced riders lending some useful advice. (Presuming they have any of course). Thanks to Dawn for the details in this months newsletter, don't forget there are many ways to get your stuff included.
